Fourteen athletes will represent Gators on world teams

A grand total of 14 Gators—past, present and future—earned the chance to compete in the IAAF World Championships this August in London following strong showings at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, California. The four-day meet concluded this Sunday.

Former and current Gators complete Day 1 of USATF Championships

Excessive heat warnings in Sacramento, California, didn’t keep UF athletes from putting their best effort forward in Thursday night’s USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships. With potential spots for Team USA on the line, Jeff Demps led all current and former Gators with a solid performance in the 100-meter dash.

Florida track & field sends 52 athletes to NCAA Prelims

Nearly two weeks after producing a trio of SEC outdoor champions in junior KeAndre Bates (men’s triple jump), junior Lloydricia Cameron (women’s shot put) and senior Kyra Jefferson (women’s 200-meter), Florida will see a total of 52 athletes compete in the NCAA East Preliminary.
