UF Small Animal Hospital holds open house

Community members of all ages and UF College of Veterinary Medicine affiliates filled the lobby of the new 100,000 square foot UF Small Animal Hospital Sunday afternoon at an open house. The open house is part of a series of events leading to the Nov. 1 opening of the hospital.

Asian group reaches out to students about culture

The Southeast Regional Conference of Asian American Leaders has invited cultural activists such as Cambodian spoken-word artist Anida Yoeu Ali and international Nathan’s hotdog-eating champion Takeru Kobayashi to UF to address issues of race, religion, class and sexuality.

Senate candidate Meek stops on campus

Meek, who is challenging Republican Marco Rubio and independent Charlie Crist,  spoke to a crowd of about 40 people on Thursday in Reitz Union Room 282 about the importance of getting yourself and others to the polls.
