A display of Japanese dolls sits on display in the Language Learning Center in Turlington Hall. In Japan, mothers and their daughters set up similar doll displays as part of the Doll's Festival, which is also known as Momo no Sekku, or Peach Festival.

Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War

Lew Welge as Abraham Lincoln and John McLean as a 1st Lieutenant Union Soldier act on the Plaza of the Americas on Monday afternoon. The reenactment was part of a national traveling exhibit, "Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War," which is on display on the third floor of Library West until March 7.

The Wall Will Fall

Shaina Rosenaure, a 20-year-old chemical engineering senior, places a brick painted with the word "Beefy" to form a wall on the Plaza of the Americas as part of IRHA's Writing on the Wall project. The wall will be torn down by students on Friday as a symbolic breaking of stereotypes.
