Local residents looking to get into the Halloween spirit can visit the corn maze in Newberry.

As of Sept. 21, the Newberry Cornfield Maze is now open for Halloween lovers to get their spook on.

The Newberry Cornfield Maze offers an array of different fall festivities, including the maze, a hayride and a haunted house.

From now until Oct. 27, those older than 10 years old can pay $15 to enjoy the corn maze and haunted house. Children 10 and under will be charged $10 for admission and those under three years old get in for free.

Separate charges are made for different activities; the hayride, human hamster balls and mechanical bull all cost $5 per person.

According to their website, the Newberry Cornfield Maze was founded in 2004. At the time, the cornfield only included the maze and hayride as a fall family event but has since expanded to the array of activities that are offered today.
