Wilbur Marshall selected to College Football Hall of Fame

When Wilbur Marshall was added to UF's Ring of Honor, he was nearly brought to tears. He better stock up on some Kleenex's because it was announced today that Marshall will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Marshall will be the fifth Gator into the hall, joining Dale Van Sickel, Steve Spurrier (remember him?), Jack Youngblood and Emmitt Smith.

Marshall, a linebacker, won two superbowls and was named to several Pro-Bowl teams after being named the national defensive player of the year in 1983 while at UF.
