It's official: Ronnie Wilson is back

Ronnie Wilson, who was kicked off the team for shooting a firearm into the air in downtown Gainesville in 2007, is back on the team as a walk-on. And now he's playing defensive line. Wilson played offensive guard for the 2006 championship team.

Also of note from the very early morning practice: Urban Meyer definitely loves Jeff Demps, after Demps took a short gain and rushed through a small gap for a big gain he let out a "Whoo-eee." You don't get those too often from Meyer….T.J. Lawrence, recruited as a receiver, looks to be the one who's moved over to safety to help with the losses of Dorian Munroe and John Curtis (torn ACLs)…Freshie receiver Frankie Hammond made a nice couple of catches. He won't get on the field this year, but maybe he has a chance in the future.

More updates after this afternoon's practice.
