Sometimes it's easy to forget Tim Tebow is just a junior.

We've been hearing about him being named Florida's Mr. Football, all of his state records, and waiting for confirmation on whether or not Superman does indeed wear No. 15 pajamas since early 2005.

Three and a half years later, after facing as much pressure as Aaron Rodgers replacing Brett Favre, Tebow's trophy case includes a Southeastern Conference championship ring, a BCS championship ring, The Heisman Trophy and all the swag that comes with it.

Those of us in Gainesville have been hearing and seeing Tebow for so long, that we forget it was two years ago today when Tim introduced himself to the nation.

You remember this don't you? With 7:53 remaining on the clock, Tebow converts a fourth and 1 that saved the Gators' national championship hopes.

Hello nation, my name is Tim, and I'll be staying awhile.

If you're a Tennessee fan, it sort of felt like Tebow was that houseguest that gets a bit too comfortable at your place. Digging into your fridge and cooking your ribeye steaks, wearing your bathrobe around the house and inviting the 15 people he met at the club to your house for a nightcap.

Vols fans probably said, "Uh, Tim, you're a freshman, and there are 100,000 of us. You're not supposed to be doing this."

It was there we learned No. 15 definitely had some mojo, that there was a little meat backing up the hype. And even though he's gone on to have much more success than just that one play in that one game, it's still something that sticks out to him.

"I think it is up there because it was my first opportunity to make a play," Tebow said. "That's why I think it's so special to me and to coach. It is a play we had to make."

Tim, growing up a Gators fan, knows how big it is for UF to score a victory over Tennessee. Memories of Danny Wuerffel hammering Peyton Manning's Volunteers teams may have driven him to fight for that extra yard as much as the desire to win that single game.

"Tebow kept telling him to give him the ball," Percy Harvin said. "Coach [Urban Meyer] said, 'If I put you in, you better get this.' Tebow looked at him with this crazy look, and he went in there and got it."

Coach Meyer has said that Tebow was one of the few freshman quarterbacks he wouldn't mind placing into a hostile environment (that includes former No. 1 NFL Draft pick Alex Smith) with a game on the line.

If Meyer hadn't realized that about Tim prior to that crazy look and that big play, it's something he must have been positive about right after the game.

On a team full of veteran leaders like Chris Leak, Andre Caldwell and Dallas Baker, it was a child who would save them.

It was the youngest of the bunch who was ready for his close-up.

The Volunteers are just wishing he wasn't getting so darn comfortable.
