More fuel was added to the UF budget fire with word of the possible elimination of 66 faculty and staff positions in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

The situation is proving to be a tenuous one for all involved. There remains a great deal of uncertainty considering nothing will be finalized until senior administrators release a campus-wide plan next month.
