Hey everyone!
I'll keep this post short so we can all have some fun for spring break.
If you haven't already had a chance to read last week's Avenue section, check out my brief article about different things you can do over the break that will keep you in shape without having to step foot in a gym.
Once we return from spring break, there will be only six weeks before the end of the semester. Over the next few weeks, I will be doing a lot more multimedia work that will focus on ways to stay in shape throughout the exam process, and I will also do some more features on the different fitness classes that UF offers for free. Check back on The Alligator's Web site every other week to see this.
Over the break, remember that you want to pace yourself if you decide to drink. There are tons of calories in a lot of these high-sugar island cocktails, so you don't want to destroy all of your hard work in the gym this semester through one long week of hardcore boozing.
Be safe, be smart, have fun and come back relaxed.
