The end of 'Harry Potter' begins

It's hard to imagine that the last novel in the "Harry Potter" series came out over three years ago. The first book hit shelves in the United States way back in 1998 when most college students were just learning how to read.

Now the wizard has become a staple of society with a theme park and an eight-part movie series.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 2" will bring the epic conclusion of J.K. Rowling's popular fantasy series to an end.

In the upcoming film Harry, Ron and Hermione now have to face the evil Lord Voldermort in a battle that is the culmination of everything that’s happened so far.

Are you ready for the "Harry Potter" franchise to finally come to a close? Have the films lived up to the book series? And how do you feel about the seventh story to be split into two films?

Answer in the comments below and be sure to catch part one of this grand finale in theaters Nov. 19 in 3-D and IMAX. The second installment hits theaters on July 15, 2011.
