The survival kit for Halloween Horror Nights

Telling scary stories is one thing, watching a few scary movies is another deal, but if you are really into putting yourself right in the middle of blood, guts and terror than you are either a serial killer in the making… or you would really like Halloween Horror Nights! For about 7 hours you can walk through Universal Studios and have the cap scared out of you through various scare zones and themed houses. If you are brave enough to try it out, here are a few things you might want to consider bringing:

Sneakers

First of all, you are going to be walking or standing in line quite a bit, so you want to make sure that you feet are nice and comfortable. Also, when masked psycho killers and the undead are chasing you and you are only inches from their grasp, you are going to turn into track star.

Earplugs

Universal Studios will be filled with screams of pure terror and unadulterated fear so if you don’t want to go deaf, earplugs may be a good investment. On top that, your own scaredy cat self with be screaming and crying all night too so the ear plugs will end up saving you from yourself.

A stress ball

Unless the friend or significant other you go with has an arm of steel, you are probably going to end up squeezing their arm until they bleed. If you don’t want to pull off the arm of your loved one, then a stress ball that you claw apart may be the best way to go.

Liquid courage

I am not saying to bring it in the park, that is wrong and you will get kicked out. But I mean… if you have a little sippy sip to calm your nerves before entering the park you will definitely loosen up a little bit.

A diaper

With this year’s theme apparently being zombies with houses like Walking Dead, Resident Evil and Cabin in the Woods, it is almost inevitable that you are going to pee yourself… at least a little bit.

Be prepared to cry and scream like a little baby and hope that no one records you and puts that on Youtube.
