Dear editor,

I have just read the article in the July 24 edition of the Alligator about meals for homeless folk.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 NE First St., has been serving a hot breakfast to homeless and hungry people every Sunday morning since 1996. Most Sundays, the breakfast menu is mainly pizza from Leonardo’s Pizza at Millhopper. At the end of the day they give us the remainders of the pizzas they make to sell by the slice. We freeze it each day and then heat it on Sunday. There would not be Streetside Breakfast at Holy Trinity were it not for the generosity of Gregg Brannan and Leonardo’s Pizza at Millhopper!
