Tonight, the U.K.’s Chris Lorenzo is bringing his iconic house and bass sound to Gainesville.

The event, which is hosted by Over Easy Creative, will take place from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., with doors opening at 9 p.m., at Gold Room Nightclub. Tickets range from $10 to $12 on Eventbrite or $15 at the door.

The show is part of Lorenzo’s “Destroy the Image” tour, celebrating his self-released album that premiered in November 2016.

Les Voss, a 24-year-old producer who owns Over Easy Creative, is excited to bring Lorenzo to Gainesville for the first time.

“Chris Lorenzo has been a personal favorite of mine for years,” said Voss. “He’s really pushed the house and bass sound into popularity worldwide from the U.K. and earned crazy respect from major artists through his productions.”

Lorenzo will receive opening support from HBK, made up of Holden Howard and Connor Schrills, who won Over Easy Creative’s Gainesville electronic dance music contest. He joined other Gainesville DJs in creating a 45-minute mix that received the most likes on Facebook. His mix was then selected from the top three by the Over Easy Creative team.

The opening support and Lorenzo himself add to Over Easy Creative’s artistic vision.

“What our Over Easy squad loves about Chris Lorenzo is that he’s been relentlessly pushing his sound for so long, and it’s changed over time as he’s soaked up inspiration from those he remixes,” Voss said.
