The ticket includes Ian Green running for Student Body president, David Enriquez running for Student Body vice president and Stefan Sanguyo running for Student Body treasurer.

This will be the second year the Impact executive ticket will not have a female candidate.

Omarley Spence, Impact president, said even though there’s no female on the ticket, everyone in the party is excited for the candidates.

“I really strongly believe you don’t have to be a female to advocate for female issues,” Spence, 20, said.

Impact introduced the candidates on Friday from 1 p.m. through 1:30 p.m. at Plaza of the Americas.

Green currently serves as the Senate President and is a fourth-year UF business management and economics student, according to his profile on the Student Government’s website. “This is something I’ve wanted to do in my entire time at the University of Florida,” Green said. “This is a university I love, I’ve been bleeding orange and blue since I could remember. It’s truly an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to run for Student Body president.”

Enriquez is the vice president of programming for the Hispanic Student Association and a brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc., Spence said.

Enriquez said he’s excited to bring an immigrant perspective and a connection to the Hispanic community.

“I’m excited about being a part of a movement that values and promotes involvement in public service above self,” he said. “But most importantly, I’m excited to bring a unique perspective to campus.”

Sanguyo currently serves as the Liberal Arts-06 senator for Impact Party, according to the Senate roster. He is also the treasurer for UF Pi Delta Psi, according to the fraternity’s website.
