Police are looking to identify a man suspected of an August rape. 

Surveillance footage uploaded by Gainesville Police shows a man in a light colored T-shirt, pacing in the Midtown area along University Avenue while holding a cell phone. He is believed to be a white male, 20 to 25 years old, five feet seven to nine inches. A picture rendering and the video depicts him with dark, shoulder length hair.

He was seen just before midnight on Aug. 24. and a few hours later walking along the area of 1000 Southwest 16th Avenue, according to police.
