Florida redshirt senior offensive lineman Devon Manuel arrested

DUI and possession of concealed weapon are among the charges

Florida football redshirt senior offensive lineman Devon Manuel was arrested July 18 on charges of driving under the influence and possession of a concealed weapon, Swamp247 reported Saturday.

According to court records, Manuel was pulled over on SW 34th Street while driving approximately 60 miles per hour, 15 mph over the speed limit.

Officers reportedly smelled marijuana from inside the vehicle, to which Manuel told officers he had used prior to driving, the records stated.

Manuel also told officers that he had a firearm between the driver’s seat and the center console, which was loaded but not chambered, according to the records.

He was booked into the Alachua County Jail, where he was later released on bond.

Manuel transferred from Arkansas and appeared in three games in 2024 for the Gators.
