Zach Xu, a 20-year-old UF finance sophomore and 2016 alumnus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, organized the event on Turlington Plaza on Tuesday night. He spoke about his experiences while at the school and paid his respects to those involved in the shootings.
