Shelter dogs wait for potential adopters in kennels at Alachua County Animal Resources on March 31, 2026.

In his whistleblower email, Anthony Friedell included a screenshot of the euthanasia record of Alachua County Animal Resources shelter dog Kane. The authorization date and euthanasia date marked by Gina Peebles were recorded within a minute of each other.
