Dear Gators,
As I’m sure most of you know, Fall elections start Tuesday and will continue through Wednesday. This semester, the Student Body will elect 50 senators who will represent the different residence halls and geographical areas surrounding campus.
Student Government elections allow students to voice their concerns through the power of voting. I value and understand the importance of these elections.
I encourage all of you to research the candidates and parties on the ballot. I will vote first thing tomorrow morning and hope that the entire Student Body will join me in honoring the democratic representation that we enjoy here at UF.
