I am sickened by the story and video of the student tortured by the Taser for free speech.
I am shocked by the students who sat by silently and watched the police abuse. Do they believe that would never happen to them? It is very scary that free speech is not valued at UF by the students and police. And to think we are told we're fighting for democracy in Iraq.
What message are we sending to the world?
