No. 68 Wildcats upset No. 18 Gators in Gainesville

The No. 18 Florida Gators (8-4, 3-2 SEC) lost to the No. 68 Kentucky Wildcats (8-6, 2-3 SEC) 4-2 Sunday afternoon at Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex. The Gators started slow and surrendered the doubles point which proved consequential in Sunday’s final outcome.

Gators drop series finale to Crimson Tide

The No. 5 Florida Gators (18-4, 2-1 SEC) lost to the No. 24 Alabama Crimson Tide (17-4, 1-2 SEC) 6-3 in the final game of Florida’s Southeastern Conference series opener. UF split its doubleheader with Bama after the loss in Condron Ballpark Friday night.

Sproat dominates No. 24 Alabama in SEC Opener

The No. 5 Florida Gators (17-3, 1-0 SEC) defeated the No. 24 Alabama Crimson Tide (16-3, 0-1 SEC) 3-0 Thursday evening to open Southeastern Conference play. In what was expected to be a back-and-forth offensive showdown, a pitching duel occurred.
