On June 15, Texas district court judge Ken Curry granted Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby a temporary injunction allowing him to maintain his eligibility and play for the Red Raiders in 2026 — against the NCAA’s better judgment. A week later, the lawsuit was withdrawn.

UF announces $1.45 billion stadium renovations

On Thursday, the University of Florida revealed renderings and a promotional video of its $1.45 billion renovations to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Construction for the project is scheduled to begin following the 2026 season and is expected to be completed ahead of the 2030 campaign.
