Gators golf team finishes second in Wolf Run Intercollegiate

The Wolf Run Intercollegiate is in the books and the Florida men’s golf team was able to have a complete turnaround from their first tournament, as they finished in second place after posting a score of 37-over-par. After finishing in 13th place in the first tournament, UF had three rounds of steady play and finished ahead of 13 teams.

Men’s golf team starts second fall tournament Saturday

After not performing up to the standards of a nationally successful program, the Florida men’s golf team looks to bounce back after a discouraging 13th-place finish in its first tournament of the year as it heads to Zionsville, Ind., for the two-day Wolf Run Intercollegiate.

Women’s golf still in 14th after two days of competition

The second day of the Cougar Classic in Charleston, S.C., at the Yeamans Hall Course has been completed, and the Florida women’s golf team did not make up any ground on the leaderboard, as they continue to sit in 14th place. The No. 17 Gators finished the second round at 10-over-par and are 19-over-par overall for the tournament. UF is 29 shots behind leader and Southeastern Conference foe, No. 7 Arkansas, who sit at 9-under-par. Coach Emily Glaser said the team did not capitalize on opportunities.

UF women’s golf in 14th place after Day 1 of Cougar Classic

The first round of the Cougar Classic in Charleston, S.C., at the Yeamans Hall Course has come to an end, and the No. 17 Florida women’s golf team is sitting in the middle of the field in 14th place. The Gators finished the day at 9-over-par, which is 15 shots behind clubhouse leader Wake Forest. Coach Emily Glaser said, the teams score doesn’t echo how well the team played.

Women’s golf set for season

Coach Emily Glaser will be looking to lean on a squad that is returning five players and a transfer as she enters her third year at the helm of the Florida women’s golf team.

Florida men’s golf in last after Day 1 of season-opening tournament

The Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic in Dalton, Ga., at The Farm Golf Course has come to a close, which means the first tournament of the season for the Florida’s men’s golf team has been completed. J.C. Deacon made his coaching debut during the tournament and after a rough first day, the Gators steadily improved on the second day, and held their ground on the final round of play. UF finished in 13th place out of 14 teams after shooting 33-over-par.
