Entering the third round of stroke play six shots back from the top-eight, Florida women’s golf was prepared to make a run in the final 18 holes. After two up-and-down rounds in the days prior, the Gators were hoping to turn their play around and qualify for the match play quarterfinals.
The Florida men’s golf team earned its sixth win of the season, finishing first at the Calusa Cup.

The Gators battled their way ahead, matching Georgia’s five birdies on the front nine with five of their own. The Bulldogs struggled on the back nine, with five bogeys and a quadruple bogey to start. Florida seized the opportunity, tying Georgia at 8-over and overtaking it with three birdies on the final three holes. UF held on to secure the second place finish.
Bell led the charge for UF from the opening round. He struggled at the start with a bogey on hole two but quickly turned it around with two birdies and an eagle on his next seven holes.
Florida women’s golf finished sixth at the Briar’s Creek Invitational thanks to strong play from its freshman.
Despite having the No. 1-ranked player in the country, senior Maisie Filler, the Gators women’s golf team failed to capture a victory in the Gators Invitational at Mark Bostick Golf Course. Florida earned third place in the tournament with a total score of 852 (12-over-par) through 54 holes.
After two days of waiting, junior Ian Gilligan finally saw his opportunity to secure his first win as a Florida Gator. After ending rounds 1 and 2 behind Missouri senior Jack Lundin, Gilligan was ready to fight out the final round and secure first place.
Florida had a rocky start to the tournament on Saturday, struggling to get anything going in round one. The Gators recorded 14 bogeys as a team throughout the day and had three double bogeys on the front nine.
The Florida women’s golf team came into the 2023-2024 season with a unique split in the class of its players. The roster included a majority of upperclassmen and new players. Coach Emily Glaser, who is in her 12th year as head coach, wanted to find a way to unite her team by using her seniors' experience to its advantage. From this, the big sister program was formed.

The Florida Gators Men’s Golf team came up just short in match play against Florida State and Georgia Tech at the East Lake Cup in Atlanta, Georgia. The Gators made it to the consolation finals on the last day of the event.
Fifth-year senior John DuBois appeared in the lineup only three times his freshman year. In his senior season a year ago, he stood on the 18th hole of the national championship semi-final and made a putt that kept his team’s hopes for a title alive.

Florida swept the Georgetown Intercollegiate as sophomore Matthew Kress led the way for the Gators as the individual champion. The victory marked the team’s first of the 2023-2024 season and the 22nd under head coach J.C. Deacon.
The team teed off Monday at the Governors Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. UF came out victorious in the 14-team tournament. Senior Maisie Filler shot the second lowest score in program history in the opening round. Her impressive 8-under 64 first round lead the way for the Gators. Filler’s outing earned her first place on the player leaderboard through the first 36 holes.
