Florida falls in ALC Tournament

Two days removed from a convincing victory over Ohio State, No. 1 seed Florida (17-2, 5-2 American Lacrosse Conference) dropped the ball against second-seeded Northwestern (12-2, 4-1 ALC) in the championship round of the ALC Tournament in Baltimore, Md.

Senior leading top-10 offense

Ashley Bruns has the routine down. She catches the ball behind the net, sprints to the left or right side of the goal and snaps the ball past the pole and goalkeeper to hit the back of the net.

When Sam Farrell arrived at Florida, she wanted to be one of the best lacrosse players in the nation. Winning the Tewaaraton Award, considered the equivalent of the Heisman Trophy in college lacrosse, was her dream. Four years later, the senior has nearly reached her goal.
