Volaticus Aerial Dance club will host its fall showcase 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in the Nadine McGuire Dance Pavilion. Aerial dance incorporates acrobatics, classical dance and equipment that is hung from the ceiling. The showcase will highlight 11 individual performances and two group pieces. It's free and open to the public.
Artists of various forms came together for the first annual Art and Bass creative collaboration festival Saturday. The all day event was held at the JAM in downtown Gainesville.
