Gators and Gamecocks meet at a crucial point

The Gators’ meetings with the Gamecocks this season and last have both come at precarious times in Florida’s grueling schedule. For the second year in a row, the Gators will head into the game following a loss, which is quite the coincidence considering UF has lost just four games in the past season and a half.


Center Gorjok Gak dislocated his shoulder in the offseason. He missed all of 2018-19.

Florida’s men’s basketball team is just 21 days away from its first game of the season against North Florida, and it has been busy acclimating its large roster of newcomers to the program. The Gators have high expectations coming into this season, but already they’ve faced two difficulties that they’ll need to overcome to start the season strong.
