UF finishes second at Sea Best Invitational in Jacksonville

The Gators were close to starting their spring season with an impressive tournament win. Freshman Ricky Castillo and junior John Axelsen finished first and second on the individual leaderboard at the Sea Best Invitational in Jacksonville Tuesday, but the team ultimately lost by two strokes to No. 20 Texas A&M.

Gators to rely on youth against LSU

Florida’s women’s basketball team has struggled this season against top opponents. Through six matchups against ranked teams this year, the Gators have lost them all, and that includes their last four contests. Fortunately for coach Cam Newbauer’s squad, its next game comes against unranked LSU on Thursday at the O’Connell Center. For this game, UF will continue to rely on its young players.
