Gator athletes deserve compensation for game likenesses

Over the past few decades, the market for video games in the United States has grown exponentially and has become a wildly successful and lucrative business within the entertainment industry. Sport video games have become a particularly flourishing genre of the  industry and comprise approximately 15.3 percent of total game sales.

Sports games for people who don’t like sports games

I never understood the allure of the “Madden NFL” franchise. Aside from the greatest sports commentator who ever lived, the game is boring if you’re not a sports fanatic. EA Sports’ dedication to realism in  games is good for the guy who has an NFL season pass on his Direct TV, but what about the rest of us? What about the gamer who doesn’t want to manage a franchise and just wants to play a simple, fun football game?

This football season has been creating excellent opportunities to examine the role of women in male locker rooms, but the way the NFL backpedaled from a series of teachable moments is both superficial and predictable.
