Senior Yanis David’s mom and grandma watched her jump in person for the first time in the United States. They watched her extend her national No.1 ranking to 37 centimeters in the triple jump with a jump of 14.05 meters.

Grant Holloway is quite literally on top of the world. His time of 6.51 seconds in the 60 meters broke a seven-year-old school record, was good for the world lead and put him in the top 10 on the all-time collegiate list for the event. Holloway also holds the national lead in the 60-meter hurdles and the No. 2 marks in the long jump and 200 meters.
Florida’s track and field teams will travel to Arkansas this weekend for the first of two times this season to face off against some of the top teams in the nation.
