Gators volleyball is the best sport to follow at UF

Coach Mary Wise has built one of the premier programs in Gator athletics. Since 1991, Wise has constructed a volleyball program that is constantly at the top and rarely struggles to find its footing.

Despite making her return to the field against Florida State, UF forward Deanne Rose couldn't provide an offensive spark, as the Gators lost 1-0 and failed to score for the fifth-straight game.

Oklahoma State defeats UF 1-0 in double overtime

It wasn’t until the 103rd minute that Oklahoma State’s Marlo Zoller hit the back of the net from 14 yards out and put the hopes of a Gator victory to rest.

The No. 5 Gators will travel to Stillwater, Oklahoma, after suffering a home defeat to No. 23 Ohio State. “We have to bounce back quick,” senior midfielder Sarah Troccoli (pictured) said. “It gives us a chance to practice that.”
