The No. 6 Florida Gators (16-11, 6-3 SEC) beat the No. 21 Mississippi State Bulldogs (19-10, 4-5 SEC) 4-3 March 31 at Condron Family Ballpark, winning its 16th-straight weekend series at home.

Florida seized the opportunity, tying Georgia at 8-over and overtaking it with three birdies on the final three holes. UF held on to secure the second place finish.
Redshirt senior shortstop Skylar Wallace smashed a triple through the first baseman’s legs to the right field wall. From first base, junior center fielder Kendra Falby’s speed allowed her to score to make it a one run game.
