Liv McGill erupted for 32 points as Florida shook off a slow start, extending its non-conference home win streak to 13.
Since I stepped foot on campus as a sports journalism major, I knew I wanted to work for the largest student-run independent newspaper in the country. What I didn’t know was how much The Alligator would shape me into the person I am today.
Although Florida women’s basketball was without its top scorer, Liv McGill, the team secured its first road win of the season against FAU, spearheaded by Laila Reynolds’ 17 points.
Florida women’s basketball bounced back from its first loss of the season, as Liv McGill returned to the court to lead with 27 points, while Laila Reynolds secured a career-high 21 points.
Florida women’s basketball secured its third consecutive victory of the season, backed by Me’Arah O’Neal’s career-high 20 points.
Florida women’s basketball dominated in its home opener against UNF. Eight Gators contributed to the scoring column, with five reaching double figures.
With the launch of the Gator Esports Center, the club has shown it’s here to stay.
As Florida women’s basketball’s only sophomore, Laila Reynolds plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the program, inspiring and leading the next batch of players.
Anything a woman does that could potentially injure a fetus, whether that be accidental or intentional, could be deemed as child abuse and neglect according to the proposed fetal personhood bill (Senate Bill 1284).
