The Florida Gators (13-7, 2-5 SEC) defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores (9-12, 0-7 SEC) 73-55 to snap a four-game conference losing streak. UF outscored Vanderbilt 48-24 in the paint and finished with seven more rebounds than the Commodores.
Saturday's event was held for a six-year-old boy named Noah. He and his family were welcomed into the Guy Bostick Clubhouse. The entire men’s team, along with head coach JC Deacon, greeted him with a whole table full of toys for Noah.
Florida (11-8, SEC 4-3) defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs (12-7, SEC 1-6) 61-59 Saturday. The Gators held Mississippi State to 39% shooting. UF held its opponent to less than 40% from the floor for the 10th time in its last 12 games.
The No. 17 Florida Gators (1-1) defeated UCF (0-1) 6-1 in Orlando Saturday night.
Florida’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs took down the Florida State Seminoles’ No. 16 men and unranked women. The No. 3 men (5-1, 1-1 SEC) won 179-118, while the No. 7 women (6-1, 3-0 SEC) earned a 191-103 victory. The Gators secured 21 B-cut times and won 28 of the 32 total events Friday.
Shelton has won three-straight matches in his Australian Open debut after his first-round loss at the U.S. Open. He’ll look to keep rolling in the Round of 16 Monday.
The Florida Gators travel to Starkville, Mississippi, to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The game will mark UF’s first time in the Magnolia State this season.

Florida 4-star quarterback Jaden Rashada is requesting a release from his national letter of intent signed on Early Signing Day Dec. 21, according to several reports. The story was first reported by 247Sports.
