On June 8, the men’s team became triple consecutive NCAA DI Outdoor Champions for the first time in Florida’s track and field history. This marked 5th on UF's All-Time Top 10 List and 6th in the NCAA for 2024. Senior Melanie Welsing placed 3rd in the women’s javelin throw with a personal best throw of 30.72.
The Gators women's track and field team earned a silver medal, while the men's team secured a bronze medal at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships.

Valby finished in 14:56.11– a performance that is 16 seconds faster than the previous indoor collegiate record of 15:12.22, set by Emil Sisson of Providence College in 2015, and seven seconds faster than NC State’s Katelyn Touhy’s outdoor record of 15:03.12 set in 2023.
