Transportation Fair

Bicycle Benefits is a program that offers a $5 helmet decal for discounts at select local businesses.

Dance Break

Santa Fe business administration junior Tu Le, 21, break dances on Turlington Plaza on Wednesday to promote Passion Through the Noise talent showcase. The showcase will be on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gator Wesley Foundation, located at 1380 W. University Ave. General admission is $10 and proceeds go to Project P-Noise to support underprivileged Bboys in the Philippines.

Slip 'n Slide

Participants run to slide down Pi Kappa Alpha's Tide Slide, a 100-foot long slip 'n slide being hosed down by the Gainesville Fire Department, that closed down 19th Street on Saturday. Admission was $5 for unlimited slides and all proceeds were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Gainesville.

One Day Without Shoes

Kayla Malone, a 19-year-old freshman, walks around without shoes Tuesday. The political science major is partaking in the One Day Without Shoes campaign by TOMS Shoes to spread awareness on the impact a pair of shoes can have on children in poverty.
