Congress shouldn’t be trusted

The Oct. 6 Gallup poll reports that only 21 percent of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing. Considering that so few people support the effort being made by congressmen, it seems obvious that Congress is failing to represent the will of the people.

Farmers must demand right to grow pot

Although I can understand the frustration felt by Matthew Vann in his letter to the editor and tobacco farmers in general, I also understand the reasoning behind taxing a dangerous product that creates a huge burden on the state's health care system.
