Classes for learning not socializing
By Richard Ruth | Oct. 7, 2007One of the things that has been driving me nuts this semester is the seemingly complete lack of manners presented by a few students in our lecture halls. What should you do when your instructor starts to speak? Shut up and listen, right? I didn't show up to listen to you chatting with your girlfriends about how lame today's video was or your thoughts about yesterday's test in a completely different course.
