In a hostile environment in Auburn Friday night, the No. 1 Florida Gators gymnastics team set the tone early, but stumbled to the finish line with a poor vault rotation.
After a season debut that saw them jump to No. 1 in the Road to Nationals rankings, Florida women’s gymnastics continued its momentum from the season in its Southeastern Conference opener against No. 4 Alabama.
Gators gymnastics kicked off their season in style, winning a quad meet against North Carolina, West Virginia and Temple.
