Auburn running back Ben Tate just scored a
controversial 3-yard touchdown run with less than 7 minutes
remaining in the first half. Tate ran through the right side of
Auburn's offensive line, dived over a pile of players and reached
his arm over the goal line for a score.
The play was reviewed and it was apparent on
replays that Tate's knee hit the ground before he stretched for the
score.
Still, the play was upheld at Auburn leads
14-0.
