Sophomore libero Elyse Cusack has
done something no one in Southeastern Conference history has ever
done. Monday, Cusack was named the SEC's Defensive Player of the
Week for the second week in a row.
Cusack, who won Defensive Player of the Year
honors in 2006, had 14 digs on Friday against Mississippi State and
a season-high 29 against Alabama Sunday afternoon.
Cusack brings Defensive Player of the Week
honors back to Gainesville for the third time in a row, as senior
middle blocker Kisya Killingsworth was given the title two weeks
ago.
Cusack ranks second in the SEC with 5.53 digs
