Harvin misses practice

GAINESVILLE - Just when No. 17 Florida's receiving corps seemed to get healthy, the flu struck.

Wide receiver Percy Harvin, who leads the team in receptions and yards, missed Wednesday's practice with a cold.

"He's just getting over a little bug," wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales said. "He's not hurt at all. I think it's just typical flu stuff."

Harvin became the first player in Gators history to gain 100 yards as both a rusher and receiver in last week's win over Vanderbilt.

Gonzales said he expects Harvin to play Saturday against South Carolina.
