UF President Machen will be nearly ,300,000 richer this year, thanks to bonuses approved by UF's Board of Trustees at a meeting Friday morning.
However, one trustee, Al Warrington, voted against the bonus.
Warrington is the chair of the board's Committee on Finance and Facilities.
Since the rest of the board voted yes, Machen will receive the bonus, which secures his spot as the highest paid university president in Florida.
