This week, I wrote a lengthy feature about Andre Caldwell, and yet despite the amount of space I was allotted, I still couldn't fit all the information I gathered into the story.
So here are a couple extra tidbits about the wide receiver worth sharing:
*As Caldwell was leaving practice Monday night, several Gators fans asked him to stop and sign autographs. One man had Caldwell sign two ,1 bills.
I asked Caldwell if he's ever signed money before, and he said he had a few times. Then I asked, what was the largest bill he had ever signed, to which he modestly replied: ,100.
*Caldwell lives with several other wide receivers, including junior Louis Murphy.
When they're not talking about girls or football, they're usually playing Madden 2007. For the longest time, Caldwell's Denver Broncos always beat Murphy, no matter which team he played as.
"He'd just talk trash, talk trash the whole time, and I'd get mad," Murphy said. "Then, I finally beat him, and he broke the controller. He threw it and broke it and sat in his room. I banged on his door, and he wouldn't open the door. He was mad at me, and I couldn't stop laughing."
