UF will be closed Friday because of Tropical Storm Fay, according to an e-mail from UF Spokesman Steve Orlando. SFC will also be closed Friday, according to its Web page.
However, residence hall check-in for UF, which had previously been closed from Tuesday night to Thursday morning, will still be open.
Classes will still begin as planned on Monday, according to both schools.
CLAS new student orientation, "Navigating the Swamp," has been canceled.
