Five-star offensive tackle Damian Prince announces his commitment to Maryland at Bishop McNamara High School on Wednesday morning.

National Signing Day continues to roll on throughout Wednesday morning.

Bishop McNamara High offensive lineman Damian Prince announced at about 10:30 a.m. that he would be signing his letter of intent to Maryland.

Prince is the No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2014 class and the No. 1 player out of Maryland, according to Rivals.com.

Prince’s hometown of Forestville, Md., is just 20 minutes outside of College Park. Prince took an official visit to Florida last weekend, but the proximity to home of Maryland was ideal.

Prince was very enthusiastic in talking with reporters about Maryland moving to the Big Ten conference — where competition level is high along the offensive line. Maryland’s coaching staff has a nice get with Prince as the class it has so far isn’t particularly impressive. Getting the No. 1 prospect in the state will certainly help the program’s image.

Prince’s decision wasn’t too much of a surprise as three-star offensive tackle Andrew Mike announced he would sign his LOI to Florida on Tuesday night.

Florida now has six offensive linemen in the current 2014 class, including JUCO transfer Drew Sarvary. They need all the help they can get on the line, as they return just five offensive linemen in 2014 with starting experience.

More 2014 commits sent in their letters of intent Wednesday morning, including Mike and defensive linemen Gerald Willis III, Justus Reed and Khairi Clark.

Former Penn State commit Thomas Holley and offensive tackle Travaris Dorsey also made their commitments to Florida official with LOIs.

A couple of Florida targets are set to announce this afternoon. Four-star defensive end Lorenzo Carter from Norcross, Ga., will announce at about 3:30 p.m. He is picking between Georgia, Florida, Florida State and LSU.

The No. 6 recruit in the 2014 class, Adoree' Jackson, will announce at 2 p.m. The versatile athlete is deciding between Florida, LSU, USC and UCLA.
