A man with cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy stashed in a car told police he was going to go party, Gainesville Police said.

Joseph Theron Miles, 39, of Gainesville, was accused of stashing drugs in bags underneath his driver’s seat to sell them Sunday evening, according to an arrest report.

An officer stopped Miles after he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Northeast 18th Street and Northeast Eighth Avenue, the report said. Police smelled marijuana and searched the car.

Police looked underneath the driver’s seat and found about 10 grams of cocaine, about 9 grams of crack cocaine, about 9 grams of marijuana, about 6 grams of ecstasy, 50 blue plastic bags and a razor blade, the report said.

The drugs looked like they were packaged for sale and there was too much of them to be for personal use, police said.

But, Miles told police, “It’s all mine.”

After he was arrested, he told police he had the drugs because he was going to go party.

Miles was charged with possession of cocaine to sell, possession of marijuana to sell and possession of synthetic drugs to sell. He is being held in the Alachua County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
