UF courses related to antisemitism under review

Florida’s 12 public universities will each form a faculty committee this Fall to examine their syllabi, curricula and any content in courses that mention topics or words including Israel, Israeli, Palestine, Palestinian, the Middle East, Zionism, Zionist, Judaism, Jewish or Jews.

Pride Student Union ‘Let Them Eat Camp’ welcome assembly highlights community vibrancy

PSU, UF’s largest LGBTQ+ student organization, invited three visual performers, an a cappella opener, a headline music act, seven table showcases and five keynote addresses to the event. Performers Sting Don, Ivy Les Vixen and Marisol Lords flaunted extravagant outfits while lip syncing to popular songs, and the tables and speakers displayed resources for the queer community.

Late-night drives: UF SNAP transportation ensures safe student travel

SNAP is a free on- and off-campus transportation service exclusive to currently enrolled students and staff, operating from 6:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. nightly during the Fall and Spring semesters and 8:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. every summer. Depending on demand, SNAP deploys between four and seven vans to roam campus that seat up to 15 people each.
