SG ends interviewing to fill 50 open Senate seats

Tuesday marked the end of Student Government Senate interviews and the newest announcement of candidates for an exectutive ticket. Following three days of interviews, parties had to submit their selected applicants for the 50 available Senate seats by midnight.

Hoobastank plays free concert at UF Bookstore

Sounds of a singing crowd could be heard ringing through the first floor of the UF Bookstore Thursday afternoon, when alternative rock band Hoobastank took a break from its national tour to perform a free concert as a favor to a local radio station.

UPD targets skateboarders with warnings, fines

Students have skateboarded to class for years without much trouble, but that all changed Wednesday as the University Police Department conducted a "saturation detail," targeting skateboarders and pulling them over if they were skating on the street.
