After taking back-to-back losses for the first time in two decades, the No. 4 Gators got back to their winning ways in Athens. Florida posted nine scores of at least 9.900 on its way to a 197.575-197.325 victory. Among the group were two veterans who each thrived in their three respective events.
Florida’s gymnasts stand among the best in the nation, pulling together a team that triumphs. But the Gators, like any other team, are imperfect. Highs and lows do not define them, but they can definitely facilitate improvement.
With two of the top five teams in the nation facing off, every little thing matters. In front of the sold-out O'Connell Center crowd, No. 5 Florida delivered one of their best performances of the season.
